Neighborhood

Blackberry Manor is located in the quiet countryside town of Graafschap. Knob Hill antiques, Graafschap Hardware (est. 1860s), and Graafschap Christian Reformed Church (est. 1847) are all within walking distance. There is also a replica of an early American settler's cabin across from the church. What we love about this location is the fact that you are a six-minute drive from downtown Holland, a ten-minute drive from Saugatuck/Douglas, and a ten-minute drive from several Lake Michigan beaches. Holland has something for everyone. Leisurely walks, bike rides, beaches, several great dining options, snowless downtown sidewalks in the winter, unique shops, hiking trails, breweries, several unique coffee shops, farmers' market, and more.

Guest Access

You will have the entire apartment including a separate entrance marked with a gold "Welcome" sign.

Good to know

Four areas make up this cozy studio-apartment-style space. The first area is a living room where you’ll find a large comfy couch, desk/workspace, queen-size bed, and wardrobe with fresh linens. The second area is a cozy reading space next to a large window that looks out to a church steeple with a rooster weathervane on top. The third area is a small bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, and beautiful old radiator that actually warms up the toilet paper above it on a cold day. The fourth is a kitchen with beautiful exposed local Veneklasen brick, butcher block countertop, a new cast-iron sink with pulldown faucet, an electric stove, a refrigerator with a small freezer, and a table with two chairs. This space also features a custom-made shelf above the sink from hand-lumbered wood found in our 120+-year-old barn. We hope you’ll find it as beautiful as we do. The kitchen contains the items you need to prepare food if desired. While the charm is something we love, this is an old house, and you may hear our girls, the dog bark, or footsteps above. This has not been an issue with any of our guests so far, but we'd rather you be prepared than surprised.

Beth’s place was a delight! Beauty, simplicity, and a feeling of “home” greeted me at the door. Traveling alone, I felt safe and secure. And had everything I needed for a few days of rest and retreat! Holland and Saugatuck are within 10 minutes so the area abounds with walking trails, coffee shops, shopping, and waterfront beauty! I’m already planning my next getaway at Blackberry Inn!

Love the stay for my wife and I. Was not aware no TV present, but honestly the best thing for my wife and I to have quiet weekend! We loved the place and so glad we booked and stayed here. Would highly recommend.
